Idyllically located in the Ruppiner Seenland, northwest of Berlin, Orianienburg combines all of the advantages that come from the near proximity to the capital and its forest and water-rich surroundings. The cultural center is the Oranienburg Palace. The older baroque palace in Brandenburg dates back to the time of Friedrich Wilhelm, Elector of Brandenburg. It is now comprised of two museums, designed by his wife Louise Henriette.
The palace park with the palace harbor is the green heart of the city, which was redesigned for the 2009 State Garden Show. Top-class theater and concerts take place in the orangery. Other sights include the Sachsenhausen Concentration Camp Memorial, the Germendorf zoo and amusement park, as well as the TURM ErlebnisCity, the biggest sport and leisure facility in the capital region. The city center attracts with many shops, restaurants, and cafes, as well as the Film Palace Oranienburg.

With the closely located S-Bahn it only takes 30 minutes with the regional train or the S1 to Berlin main station. The Bernauer Straße bus stop is also only 500 meters away. If traveling with a car, you only need 20 minutes to get to the Berlin city limits and about 30 minutes to the Tegel Airport.
It is easy to get shopping by foot done here. You will find a discount supermarket across at the Louise-Henriette-Steg. Other supermarkets and stores are also close and easily accessible. There are also doctors and pharmacies in the area. Do you have kids? There are kindergartens, primary and secondary schools, as well as highschools which are easily accessed by foot. In the neighborhood there is also a fitness studio.

When will the project be finished?
The property is partially completed. The completion of individual construction phases will take place on 01.06.2021. In the apartment finder the individual availabilities are available.
Is there a minimum rental period?
Yes, there is a minimum rental period of 12 months. The lease can be terminated with 3 months notice.
How much is the deposit and are there any on-time costs?
As with most all rental agreements, the deposit to be paid is three net cold rents (the net cold rent plus utilities can be found in the rental agreement). There are no processing or agency fees.
How are the apartments equipped?

Are there car and bicycle parking spaces on the property?
There are a total of 210 underground parking spaces available. These can be rented monthly for a cost of €75 (including additional costs).
There are bicycle parking spaces and bike racks available in the courtyard.
Are there basement rooms for the apartments? If so, how big are they?
Yes. However, not every apartment comes with a basement. The basement rooms are typically between 3 and 8 meters squared.
Who is the TV, telephone, and internet provider?
For telephone and internet this is Telekom, for TV Vodafone. But all common providers are possible and freely selectable.
Are pets allowed?
Generally, yes. However, approval from the owner is required.
Where are the washer/dryer storage facilities?
The washer and dryer storage facilities are located in the bathroom, kitchen or, if available, in the storage room of the apartment.
Who can I contact?
The Müller Merkle Immobilien Berlin GmbH team is responsible for the rental. The property management is responsible from the signing of the lease to the handover of the apartment. Their contact details will be available to you when the rental agreement is finalized. The property management team is your first point of contact during the entire rental period.
